The Higher Heights for America PAC has endorsed Michelle Maldonado for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

“Higher Heights is proud to endorse Michelle Maldonado for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District. She has been a trailblazer long before her time in politics. The foreign policy lens and AI/tech expertise she will bring to Congress are vital, her commitment to community and her proven track record as a powerful and effective legislator make her the best representative for VA-10. We’re excited to work with Michelle to see her not only serve Virginia, but transform Congress for the better,” said Eboni Taylor, Vice President of Programs.

Higher Heights for America PAC is the only political action committee exclusively dedicated to electing more progressive Black women at the federal and statewide levels and as mayors in the 100 most populated U.S. cities. With their endorsements, they have helped to elect 18 Black women public servants in the past 6 years, including Cori Bush (MO-1), Ilhan Omar (MN-05), Ayanna Pressley (MA-07, and many other powerful representatives.

“I’m honored to be endorsed by Higher Heights for America, an influential partner in this election who has helped candidates achieve historic victories over the past decade. Our work is not over as we look at who can run and why folks like me should run. Our diverse stories, perspectives, challenges and successes only bring us more insight and solutions to create the changes we need at the state, federal, and international levels. I’m here to bring that change, to represent voices from across the generations; to model a new and better way to engage in politics and to represent our people with grit, compassion, integrity, and accountability. As a long-time resident of CD10 who has experience representing portions of the District, I am humbled and excited to have the support of trailblazers and communities that work tirelessly to re-imagine, strengthen, and protect our people and our democracy,” said Michelle Maldonado.
